Bishop and
Sister Todd and their children were members of the Zion
Apostolic Church in Philadelphia. After much city and suburban
evangelism, Bishop Todd was called to pastor. In June 1983, he
and his family started the ministry in Ardmore, PA at 852 Aubrey
Street. As a prayer group, they met every Tuesday. The Lord
later moved the small congregation to 173 Simpson Road, a small
building that they rented. On August 16, the Christ Haven
Pentecostal Church was officially dedicated to the glory of God.
This church became the Haven on the corner where many wounded
and weary souls entered in and were blessed. The Lord further
blessed the ministry with increase in 1990 to enlarge God's
vision in Darby, Pa. with a beautiful church edifice. |
