Under the guidance and tutelage of our Pastor, the history of the Youth Auxiliary began in the early 1990s.  It was and continues to be the intent of our Pastor to put people to work; to have the saints occupied until the Lord returns.  Bearing this in mind, then Sister Darlene Fisher was appointed the first President of the Youth Auxiliary in the ‘new’ Christ Haven.  With Evangelist Karen Fraser as Vice President and then Sister Natosha Todd as Secretary, the seed of this auxiliary were beginning to germinate.  After years of successful service planning and youth mentoring, the garden tools were then passed on to Evangelist Karen Fraser who continued and expanded the work started by her predecessor.

Evangelist Fraser took the tools she was given and furthered the ministry to our youth by expanded such ministries as Children’s Bible Club (which used to be on Wednesday nights) and added ministries such as Teen Talk, a session for our teens to discuss topics relevant to their lives.  As this branch of the ministry began to grow, Evangelist Fraser began to gather her garden tools and pass them on to Elder and Evangelist Caldwell.  Under Bishop Todd’s direction, Elder and Evangelist Caldwell would now be called Youth Pastors; and under their direction, they began to assemble a team of auxiliary members who would further the cause of Christ in the lives of our youth.

As the Lord would have it, He called Elder and Evangelist Caldwell to a work in Philadelphia.  During this transition and under the guidance of Bishop Todd, it was decided that the lot fall would upon Elder Stephen R. Flemming to continue the maintenance and expansion of the Youth Auxiliary.  In the summer of 2006 Elder Flemming was officially appointed as the Youth Auxiliary President and Evangelist Adrienne Carney as the Vice President.
